Please welcome Raul Leyva-Montes, PA-C, to Kearny County Hospital. As a Certified Physician Assistant, he will join the Family Health Center in Lakin starting Sept. 23. Additionally, he will provide on-call coverage in the Emergency Room at Kearny County Hospital.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Raul earned his master’s degree as a Physician Associate from Wichita State University after completing his bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences at Kansas State University. Today, he is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and a proud member of the American Academy of Physician Associates, as well a

s its state constituency, the Kansas Academy of Physician Associates.

A native of Syracuse, Kansas, Leyva-Montes is thrilled to return to our area as a patient care provider. Outside of medicine, Raul enjoys gaming with friends, exploring the outdoors through hiking and travel, and spending time with his corgi, Sushi.
