Dr. Richard Lane Olson is certified in family medicine and has been working at Kearny County Hospital as a Full Spectrum Family Physician since July 2015. He enjoys Full Spectrum Family Medicine and the diversity of patient populations that it brings in and enjoys living in Lakin, KS with his wife and three children. Dr. Olson graduated from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine and completed his residency at Via Christi Family Medicine Residency in Wichita, KS. He wanted to work in a field where he got to care for patients in all stages of life, so Full Spectrum Family Medicine was his desired specialty. Dr. Olson enjoys practicing at Kearny County Hospital because he gets to work with patients of all ages and varying backgrounds. Additionally, he enjoys being in southwest, rural Kansas because he has the ability to strong relationships with his patients. Clinically, Dr. Olson is interested by obstetrics. Outside of the hospital, he enjoys spending time with his family and traveling.
